As most of you have heard there has been horrible flooding going on in Iowa. Chunky Butt Candle & Bath Co. is proud to announce that we are taking part in the Iowa Relief Auction. We, along with a bunch of other Etailers, have donated items to help raise funds for the poor helpless animals effected by the flooding. The major flooding, took place in Cedar Rapids, about 45 minutes from where we're located.

There are several hundred dogs, even more cats, and other companion animals being housed in temporary evacuation shelters. Many, many more animals are still stranded in the tens of thousands of abandoned homes. On top of everything, the Cedar Rapids Animal Shelter has been completely destroyed.
The auctions start on June 25th and go through July 2nd. So be sure to check out the website and bid on the auctions!

Just to let everybody know that auctions have started! I'm so excited by how much everyone has contributed that I've decided from now June 25th until July 31st. 20% of all orders placed on my website site or my etsy site will go towards the Iowa Flood Relief to help rebuild the Cedar Rapids, IA animal shelter. I have a little fur baby of my own, so I'm really excited to be helping out!

There are a ton of great things in the auction. I totally went crazy bidding on things (luckily I have been out-bidded on four things already or I would be totally broke). Oh, well - it's for a great cause.

Absolutely! It's so easy to go overboard, but when you know it's for a good cause you don't feel guilty
